April Showers...

Gosh I hope they bring May flowers because it sure is a mood killer! April has been off to a very hectic start. Some good, some bad, some average.

Geoff and I celebrated our year and half such a mile marker, I know! on April 3. We don't do the whole "anniversary" thing, since really it's only been one anni-, if that makes sense! Buuut since he's there and I'm here, we umm he decided to celebrate! On Monday, I got home from the doctor (more on that later) to a lovely box of roses. Because I wasn't feeling well the last thing I wanted to do is cut and trim them so I threw them in water and saved all that for later. When G came up the next weekend, he took me out to Zola's, the fanciest restaurant in these parts! It was sooo yummy and I'm so thankful that he cherishes our relationship and wants to celebrate!

 The first week of April was also filled with a lot of pain. Head pain that is. On Monday I got an excruciating headache while sitting in class. I'm not prone to headaches and when it started messing with my vision, it really freaked me out. I called my mom first the resident nurse off course! and then made an appointment at Health Services. The doctor checked me out and couldn't find anything but gave me a prescription for a muscle relaxer and told me that if it came back, I should go to the hospital. Went home, lots of pain, saw flowers - see above, pills, bed. 

Tuesday came and went. 

Wednesday, another headache. Awesome! Called doctor, told me to go to hospital. Andrea drove my car to the hospital. Sat in waiting room for lots and lots of hours. Went to room, sat for more hours. Aunt Deb came to take care of me! I finally got a CT Scan and thankfully every came back normally. No ones really sure why I was having headaches but they're gone and I'm feeling better! I'm so lucky to have friends and family who take such good care of me!

The rest of April thus far has been pretty uneventful. Did Relay for Life this past weekend which was a cool experience! This weekend is Blue and White Weekend which will be a blast and Geoffrey is taking Friday off so he'll be up a day early! It's been raining all week so next week will hopefully be more bright and sunny! My Vitamin D levels are getting low!
